Welcome to Rare Exotic Plant Shop. By accessing or purchasing from our website, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read this page carefully before using our site or placing an order.


1. General

By using this website, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or have permission from a legal guardian.
We reserve the right to update or change these Terms & Conditions at any time.


2. Product Availability & Accuracy

All plants and products are sold on a first-come, first-served basis.
Because our inventory involves live, unique plants:

  • Availability may change without notice

  • Sizes, colors, and variegation may vary from photos

  • We do not guarantee exact appearance matches

  • We reserve the right to limit quantities or refuse any order


3. Pricing & Payment

All prices are listed in USD and may change at any time.
We accept major credit cards and the payment options displayed at checkout.

Once an order is placed:

  • It cannot be canceled

  • It cannot be modified

  • All sales are final (see No Returns Policy)


4. Shipping

Orders are shipped to the exact address provided at checkout.
We are not responsible for delays, lost packages, or stolen packages marked “Delivered.”

Customers are fully responsible for entering accurate shipping information.

5. Live Plants (Condition Expectations)

Live plants are natural, living organisms and may experience minor cosmetic changes during transit. By purchasing from Rare Exotic Plant Shop, you acknowledge and accept the following:

Normal, Not-Covered Cosmetic Changes

These are common during shipping and do not qualify for replacements or store credit:

  • Minor leaf tears or small rips

  • Slight browning or yellowing on leaf edges

  • One or two yellowing leaves

  • Bent or slightly crushed leaves that bounce back

  • Minor soil disturbance or loose soil

  • Temporary drooping or softness from travel stress

  • Mild sweating or condensation in the package

  • Loss of one or two non-essential leaves

  • Reduced variegation due to shipping stress

  • Minor blemishes or natural imperfections on stems/leaves

These are considered normal and expected and do not indicate plant failure.


Serious Issues That May Be Covered (With Proper Proof)

To qualify for review, you must contact us within 24 hours of delivery and provide:

  • Clear photos of the plant

  • Photos of the packaging

  • Photo of the shipping label

  • A full unboxing video, from sealed package to removal of the plant

Eligible situations include:

  • Severe cold damage (mushy or blackened tissue)

  • Severe heat damage (scorched or crispy parts)

  • Broken main stem

  • Root system rotten or completely detached on arrival

  • Plant arrives dead or fully collapsed

If approved, compensation is provided only in the form of store credit or a replacement.
Refunds are not issued.


Not Covered Under Any Circumstances

We do not cover:

  • Damage occurring after delivery

  • Plants left outside, in a mailbox, or on a porch

  • Improper lighting, watering, temperature, or humidity after arrival

  • Pests that appear after the plant is in your care

  • Damage caused by repotting too soon

  • Customer-caused damage (dropping, overwatering, etc.)


6. Store Credits & Replacements

If approved under our Live Arrival Guarantee, store credits or replacements may be issued at our discretion.
Store credits are:

  • Non-refundable

  • Non-transferable

  • Not convertible to cash

  • Do not expire

Refunds are not provided.


7. Intellectual Property

All images, logos, branding, and website content belong to Rare Exotic Plant Shop and may not be used or reproduced without written consent.


8. Limitation of Liability

Rare Exotic Plant Shop is not liable for:

  • Carrier delays

  • Minor cosmetic plant imperfections

  • Improper plant care

  • Losses due to customer-entered address errors

  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Use of our website and products is at your own risk.


9. Privacy

Your personal information is handled according to our Privacy Policy, available on our website.


10. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which our business is registered.
